IT'S A...

Oh boy this last month has been one for the books! This stage of pregnancy has been quite exciting! Also, Alex and I celebrated our TWO year anniversary! I can't believe it's already been two years... Time sure does fly when you're having fun! Alex is a true blessing in my life and I'm so grateful for him! We took a few days off and headed up to Idaho Falls to celebrate. Our first stop was to the new movie, Pitch Perfect 2. We laughed our heads off. After the movie we headed to Target. Our goal there was to find maternity clothes... dun dun dun. I've been dreading that, but my regular clothes now are just getting a bit too snug. Later that night we went to Olive Garden (mmmmmmm my fav) and then he surprised me with staying at Destinations Inn.

The whole weekend was amazing and to top it all off we found out the gender of our little babe! The night before our ultrasound I had crazy dreams! I dreamed that when I went to my appointment that the radiologist tech told me my baby had no bones! It was quite the dream and freaked me out a little. I made sure the next day that the tech checked to make sure all the bones were there! :) We were both very anxious and exited for our appointment, praying that all would be well and our baby would be healthy! Our tech asked us right away if we wanted to know the gender of the baby, and we both happily agreed that we wanted to know. Alex couldn't wait any longer! She found the gender right away and said, "IT'S A GIRL!" We were beyond thrilled! The tech proceeded to measure the baby and make sure everything was growing properly, etc. It was amazing to see our little girl on the screen in front of us! What a miracle! She was a little stubborn and didn't want to give us a profile shot, but finally towards the end she cooperated! She crossed her ankles a lot and would stretch her little legs out. It was quite cute. I think Alex and I have watched her ultrasound video about 20 times! We're so in love already and can't wait to meet our princess! Later that night we had a gender reveal party at my parents house. Tons of family and friends came to celebrate with us! We decided we would buy a pinata to find out if it was a boy or girl. We knew all the kids would love that, and they did! I think Alex and I have a name for her as well. I don't think I'll say it on here yet, because we could still change our minds but I'm 90% sure we will probably go with the name we've talked about our whole pregnancy.

Here's an update on how my second trimester is going and how I've been feeling:
-I'm not nearly as sick/nauseous as I was (THANK YOU!)
-Starting to get heartburn.
-Still tired, I could sleep for days. I also sleep better at night.
-Still craving POP, but not re fried beans anymore. My new craving is sour punch straws! YUMMM!
-I finally felt the baby kick! That was really exciting! I don't feel her all the time, but when I do I just smile.
-I have really weird dreams.
-I'm GROWING GROWING GROWING!
