Wedding Pictures!

YES! They're here people! My wedding and reception pictures! Here's a sneak peak of a few I like. But lets be honest, it's hard to pick just a few. I'll add them all on facebook SOON!

The first time Alex saw me in my dress

When we started shooting there was a huge rain storm. The wind was so bad and my hair was sticking straight up because of it. I was so mad! Everything was getting ruined (my hair, particularly),  but after 10 minutes it calmed down and was BEAUTIFUL! We even had a double rainbow to prove it!

That dapper young fellow!

These next ones are just a few from before the reception. Trust me, there's about 200 more!

Everyone who came! We had so much love and support from our family and friends! WE LOVE YOU!

My bests. Miss them dearly

Alex's mission buddies!

My mother in law custom made my heels. SO IN LOVE.

So it took me like two hours just to download these to my blog! I can't imagine how long it would've taken if I uploaded all of them... Like I said before, the rest will be put on facebook soon! You'll get to see all of the reception pics on there :)
I'm so happy to have all my pictures back! I've loved looking at them and remembering that special day! Some days I wish I could relive it, but I guess that's why I have pictures to look back on and have that warm and happy feeling come back to me.
ENJOY!!

Our summer is coming to an end...

OH BOY! I seriously hate when I wait this long to update my blog, because I always feel like I leave so many details out due to my forgetful mind. I've sat down a handful of times and thought to myself "I should update my blog" but obviously that didn't happen... To start off my family and I went on our annual camping trip to Alturas Lake. Oh how it's my favorite place in the world! Alex and I weren't able to go the whole week but we made it there to have plenty of time to BOAT! Skiing particularly. It's Alex's obsession. The water was PERFECT the whole time we were there and that never happens. There is always wind that starts up mid morning and goes until dinner time so it depletes our idea of skiing. OH but not this year! PURE BLISS!

Also, made it to the Playmill, once again this year! Fiddler On the Roof. One of the most amazing plays ever. It was Alex's first time ever at the Playmill too! Another year gone... can't wait to come back next year!

Over Labor day weekend we went camping again with my family to Island Park. 5 minutes before we got there my sister, Megan called and said there was a bear siting in the campground next us. Lovely, a bear siting. Of course we were freaked out all weekend. I couldn't ever fall asleep at night and due to lack of sleep I heard the wolves howl. Pretty close to our camp, so that was just one more thing to be freaked out about. Honestly, besides being scared of a run in with a bear we had a fantastic time. We floated the buffalo river everyday and just relaxed. It was a great way to end summer.

The Eastern Idaho State Fair also was going on during Labor Day. And if you know me and my family we love the fair. It's the 'heart attack waiting to happen' food that we go for! We eat and eat and eat and it's SO good and SO bad for you at the same time. Love hate relationship. But I'm leaning towards more of a love relationship. It only comes once a year, so it's okay to eat all that food, right?!

NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM

So another reason I ate all the fair food I could was because the next week my family and Alex and I were starting a new diet. I've never really dieted before, but Alex and I thought we'd try it (more like I made Alex do it). And honestly, it doesn't deprive you of everything, so I figured we could do it!  We started on Septermber 9 and the diet ends November 11. 9 weeks. That's not too bad! Alex and I have done surprisingly pretty well. There are times, many times, I crave sweets but I resist. Nights are the hardest, that's when I want desserts and pizza... buh! I just keep reminding myself that I want to live a healthier lifestyle and that it will all be worth it. HOPEFULLY! I'd post my before and after pictures, but that's not happening. I'm not that bold or daring haha! Wish me luck!

Alex and I just celebrated our 4 month anniversary! Life is quite swell at the moment. The crisp fall air is upon us now. I love fall. This time of year definitely has me reminiscing about last fall because this was the season Alex and I started dating. It sure brings back wonderful memories. I can't believe it's been a year since it all began! It's been the best year yet and I can't wait for the years to come!
Peace and Blessings, my friends!
