love is in the air

First things first, oh how my life has changed drastically these past few weeks! There's a ring on my left hand! I'm engaged! I'm one happy camper. I will write the whole story down on my next blog. I feel like it deserves it's own personal blog post, haha.

You all know how I've been following, cheering, yelling, and supporting my cousin Paige and the Poky Indian girls basketball team. The regular season is now over and Poky has made it to state in Boise! I have fond memories of state and wish I could be there with my family rooting these ladies on. They won their first game last night against the Burley bobcats. "GO CATS!" But not really. There's a story behind that quote.. GO INDIANS! They play again tonight and if they win they play for the state title tomorrow! WOOHOO! Anyways the girls are quite fun to watch, and I'll miss going to the games.. POKY PRIDE NEVER DIES!

Date night with cousins! Alex and I got together with Amy and Karson Armstrong. Love them. We went to dinner and bowled afterwards. And it was a party! It's fun to have Amy living here in Pocatello. You can't get a nicer more awesome girl! We have so many fond memories together.

Happy day of LOVE! Valentines day can be a horrible or lovely day.. Fortunately for me it was lovely. I hadn't seen Alex all week and I finally got to see him Valentine's day!

Here's my gift to him. I bought a 32x24 card or something like that. It was HUMUNGO! 3lb bag of gummy bears, his favorite.. and tickets to The Society this Saturday. He doesn't know about the comedy show yet. I'll surprise him with that tomorrow.

We went to Idaho Falls and ate at Famous Dave's. I've never been there before. It was pretty delicious! We headed back to Pocatello after that and went to watch his cousins run in the Simplot Games. Got to hang with the fam for a little bit! Loved it. His family is amazing.

Here's pictures of the gift he gave me. Custom made M&M's! SO COOL! The top M&M is a picture of Alex and I, in case you were wondering. That was of the night we got engaged! I thought that was such an awesome gift! And chocolate is definitely a good way to a woman's heart :)

Other good news: I FOUND MY WEDDING DRESS! Last Monday. Mom, Megan, Madilynn, Jill, Jocelynn, and Shelley all came to watch me try on dresses. It was fun to try on all sorts of beautiful gowns!! And a lot of the ones I tried on I liked. GEESH! It was a little hard to make a decision. But, I did! And I love the dress! I would post pictures of it, but it's too risky. Alex might see it and I'm not going to let him see me in it until we take our Formal pictures.

Wedding plans are underway! I love planning a wedding. It's a bit stressful, but I'm enjoying it. And don't worry, my next post will be the engagement story!

Life is wonderful! I'm truly blessed!
BE HAPPY!
Peace and Blessings
